Introduce yourself.
My name is Sora, and I’m from Fujian, China. I studied Finance at Kaplan in Singapore, and I also worked here for a year at NTUC Income.

I’ve spent quite a long time in Singapore, around eight years in total. I went back to China during the pandemic, and I’m currently working there now.

How does working in China compare to working in Singapore?
It’s alright, but I prefer working in Singapore. I think Singapore might be a bit better because I’m more used to life here after spending so many years here.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like playing games, going to the gym, and playing tennis. Shopping is alright too, but need to earn money first! Without money, how to go shopping?

Those are words to live by! So, what brings you back to Singapore this time?
I’m preparing to go to Universal Studios Singapore today! I used to go every year from 2012 to 2019, but after I went back to China during the pandemic, I stopped going. My friends and I going to walk around VivoCity first, and then head to Sentosa at night for Halloween Horror Nights.

Do you enjoy getting scared at Halloween Horror Nights?
It’s alright lah! I like it. The atmosphere is quite good.

Lastly, what are some of your favourite things to do in Singapore?
Drinking! Non-stop drinking. (laughs)
