She Sees Fire

The colours! Gabby’s combination of rich jewel tones got us all starry-eyed. Her burgundy furry pullover and forest green skater skirt, in particular, reminded us of a cosy Christmas, so it was rather amusing when she told us Christmas is indeed her favourite festive season. Even her favourite film is associated with that special time of year. “My all-time favourite show is ‘Love Actually’,” she shared. “I watch it every Christmas without fail as it completes the festivities.” Her biggest obsession though, is with J.R.R. Tolkien and his fantastical Lord of the Rings series. “I’d love to have dinner with him, if he’s revivable,” she enthused. “I want to pick on his brain and find out more on how he came up with such a brilliant and profound world by himself!” No prizes for guessing what’s on her music playlist. “‘Misty Mountains’ by the Hobbits, and ‘I See Fire’ by Ed Sheeran (from the soundtrack of ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’),” Gabby grinned.
