“Family is very important to me. I was very close to my mum before she passed away three years ago—she raised my sister and I as a single parent. Now, my sister has three young sons, and even though I don’t normally like kids, I love being an aunt to my nephews!”

“I fell while attempting a rollerblading trick so my pinky has to be in a brace for 16 weeks. Sadly, my wife will kill me if I step foot into a skate park until then, but I’m only three weeks in and already getting so restless! I’m excused from all housework for now though, so that’s a blessing in disguise.”

“I really love noodles. I even did a whole project on noodles back in school! I can’t choose a favourite dish but I’ll always go for some variant of instant noodles. I love discovering new flavours and all I can say is that I’m thankful I still have a head full of hair—for now!”

“I have lots of hobbies, one of it being fishing. When I fish, I use artificial lures to mimic baitfish and entice a bigger catch, which is a lot more thrilling. I first fished back in 2008 on my last holiday with my dad, who has since passed. That underlying connection to my father is what has kept this hobby so close to me.”
