A Conscious Choice

We happened to meet Winnie on one of the days that she wasn’t in her usual look. “I’m usually in more form-fitting clothes, actually. I like body-conscious dresses that are still conservative.” The fit and cut of her clothes is definitely something she pays attention to, as we can tell. Winnie dresses up a plain top with slim-fit pants and a camel-coloured vest to create a look that is both professional and not so run of the mill. She says that today’s look is more of a casual Friday outfit, but she usually gravitates towards earthy colours and stays away from prints because they’re too busy. Winnie has been working in her current job for 5 years, but says that she might have pursued something in fashion if she wasn’t where she is now. “I’ve had an interest in fashion even before I started working in recruitment.” Citing Nicole Kidman and Victoria Beckham as some of her style inspirations, it’s clear to see where she gets her look from.
