A Good Fit

What’s your job title and what do you do for work?
I’m a bridal stylist. In this job, I need to understand and style brides according to their unique personalities. It’s fun to see how different individuals can pull off different gowns!
What fashion/styling advice do you give to brides-to-be?
I believe that the face completes fashion. Brides are most beautiful when they are comfortable and happy from within—it shows on their faces!
What’s a common fashion faux pas you often see?
Ill-fitting clothes! It can be anything that is in the way of a perfect fit—such the wrong length of pants, obvious undergarment lines, the gap in your top, flaring pockets etc. A good fit makes people look more fashionable!
What’s a skill you would choose to be instantly good at, if given the chance?
I would like to have the ability to pick up any new language and be able to speak to anyone and everyone!
What language would you like to learn next?
I would like to brush up on my Mandarin first. I enjoy the use of Chinese idioms and poems in television shows.
What’s something you feel nostalgic about these days?
I guess the days without social media, when the only way to get to know a new person was by chatting and spending time with them.
Do you practise any self-care habits or routines?
Sipping a cup of coffee, putting on my favourite perfume and being with nature is self-care to me! Take time to be with yourself and do things you love.
