A Sense Of Belonging

Tell us something interesting about yourself:
I love the outdoors, and I’m a bit of an environmentalist. I’m just starting with myself for now by cutting down on my usage of plastic products and bringing reusable bags with me. I’ve been bringing my own container when I head out for lunch, and some of my colleagues have started doing so as well.

What’s a dish that best describes you?
Bee hoon—it’s simple, easy to cook, and fills you up.

How did you get into what you’re doing now?
I’ve always been interested in the arts, and it started with visiting exhibitions in museums or just exploring spaces. I think that my appreciation for art made me want to create something of my own.

What’s a dream project you’d like to take on?
They’re not design-related, but I’d like to own a café, or start an all-girls skate crew.

What would your dream home look like?
It wouldn’t have to be in a specific location, it could be in a van or a tiny house. I believe that it’s the people who make a home, and not the decor or the furniture.
