Saloua has us believing in true love, all over again. “I got married when I was 18 years old, to my high school love, and we are still happily married.” She is now the mother to a 2-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl, and is thankful that her weekends have been work-free so far, so she’s able to spend quality time with her family. “As a full-time working mother there is always some juggling going on and a bit of a guilt, either towards my kids or towards work,” she says. “But I’m thankful for all I have.” Saloua is a lawyer, and although she knows it’s “not popular to say”, she loves her job. “There is a lot of diversity working with different clients on different projects, and working with junior and senior lawyers in a team to get the best results for your client.” That’s not to say that there aren’t any challenges when it comes to her work, as there are for any job. “No one tells you that your first job isn’t going to be all that fun and easy! It’s hard, and I remember that I even dreamt about my work,” she recalls. “But over time, once you start getting better and better, you will start enjoying it more and more, and become more confident.” Saloua’s vibrant personality comes through in her style, and is translated into her many interests outside of work as well. “I do yoga, and love reading, going to the movies, and having dinner and drinks with friends. I recently started Muay Thai, and I love it!”
