What’s a misconception people have about your line of work?
People often think civil servants are stuffy and don’t think creatively, and that we only do administrative work. But because I work in the Info-communications Media Development Authority, we have bit more room to be creative and fun.

If you could live anywhere, where would you choose and why?
Spain. I went there and it was colourful, the food was good, and there’s lot of culture and friendly people.

If you could invite anyone to dinner, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Kanye West. He’s erratic and philosophical all at the same time, and I just want to know what’s behind his thought process. I think it’d be fun to talk to him.

Describe your dream wedding.
I already had my ideal wedding—it was an intimate ceremony to register our marriage, somewhere by the sea. Now it’s the traditional shebang, where there’s going to be a lot of people and I’ll be too busy to talk to everyone. That’s happening in July, in an Indian temple with an auditorium that holds 600 people. I like all the colour and festivity surrounding a wedding, but having to organise it is something else.

If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Elon Musk. I think his life is constantly on the move, and he’s very interesting in interviews. He possesses all this knowledge about technology and artificial intelligence that’s changing the world, so I’d like to see how he shapes conversations with people.
