Beat The Heat

“This shirt makes me happy!” exclaimed Heidi. We feel the same. Clad in a silk collared shirt featuring a calming sky and seascape print, with sneakers in a cheerful neon orange hue, Heidi was a definite breath of fresh air amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy business district. “I dress comfortably, that’s what matters the most to me,” she said. Heidi shared her woes on the humidity here in Singapore and how she counts on natural materials — particularly silk, linen and cotton — to get her through the warm weather. “I don’t shop very often, mostly only when I travel to Tokyo and Helsinki, simply because I seem to frequent those two places the most!” A proponent of a healthy lifestyle, Heidi partakes in a range of sports four to five times a week. She also enjoys spending her weekends experimenting with raw cooking, gluten-free baking and getting creative with whatever ingredients her fridge has to offer. She admits with a smile, “Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”
