Tell us more about yourself. 
I’m currently a student at LASALLE College of the Arts, pursuing a degree in Fashion Media and Industries. I chose this degree because fashion has always been an interest of mine, but I never got to pursue it until now. Back when I finished my diploma in Tourism Business and Hospitality in polytechnic, I told my parents that it’s time for me to pursue what I wanted.

What’s something you’re feeling nostalgic about recently? 
I’ve been rewatching a lot of the Harry Potter movies, because they recently celebrated their 20th anniversary since the first movie came out. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood and it was something I grew up with.

What’s something you love most about the Harry Potter movies?
Probably to see how the friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione has evolved over the years. You can definitely see how much they’ve grown together, and even though there were many things that happened along the way, they still got through it together as friends.

Talking about friendship, what are three traits that make you a good friend?
Loyalty, being honest, and giving lots of love. I think it’s not just me, but a lot of my friends also have these traits, and that’s why we’re really tight.

Tell us a bit about what you like to do in your free time.
I’ve always loved cooking and reading. I especially love cooking Japanese curry with katsu, as I think it’s really hearty and wholesome. But as for the food I love to eat—my comfort food so to speak—it would be a good bowl of laksa.

What’s something your younger self would be surprised to find out about your current self?
I think it’s the fact that I’m doing fashion. It’s always been something I’ve wanted to do, but didn’t think it would turn into a reality, just because of my family’s expectations.

In five years’ time, where do you see yourself within the fashion industry? 
Hopefully in public relations or marketing for a brand. I’d love to work with brands like Saint Laurent, or a jewellery brand like Cartier.
