Something interesting about me:
I’m a chartering broker for a shipping company, but I actually grew up wanting to be a news broadcaster. But after a while, and because it’s quite natural for me to speak to an audience, I felt like I’d been in that line for so long that it stopped being challenging. So I didn’t want to be a news broadcaster anymore and I changed my career path.
If you could travel back in time or relive a moment all over again, what would it be and why?
When my boyfriend proposed. We’d watched a musical, Chicago, and then we took a walk. I hate surprises and anything that calls for too much attention, and he’d wanted to get the whole set and crew involved, but he knew it wasn’t ‘me’, so he just proposed as we were walking. I cried!
If you were to be stranded on an island and had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Vegetables. I’m like a little goat, you know! (laughs) I’m always eating vegetables. Kang kong is my favourite.
If you could master a skill that you don’t have right now, what would it be and why?
Actually, weirdly, it’s to be a good comforter. I’m a very pragmatic and a realist, so a lot of the things that I say to people are just like, “Deal with it.”
