Tell us about yourself and where you’re from!
My name is Max, and I’ve been studying at PSB Academy in Singapore for a year now. I’m originally from Jiangsu, Wuxi, China.

What made you choose to further your studies in Singapore?
My parents think it’s very safe here, and the environment is good.

It isn’t easy being an international student. Do you miss your hometown?
Yes, I especially miss the food like xiao long bao. The ones we have in Jiangsu are typically savoury and meat-filled, but I’ve seen different ones in Singapore, like sweet ones that are chocolate-filled.

Oh yes, we’re all about the novelty here! As someone living abroad, how do you like to spend your free time?
I like to shop along Orchard Road, especially at 313 Somerset. I’m also a fan of K-pop, so I also spend my free time chasing my favourite idols.

Oh! Which groups or artists do you like?
I like RIIZE! They recently had a concert here in Singapore that I went for! My bias is Wonbin. I also like Twice a lot.
