Gaining Ground

What’s something that keeps you going everyday?
The people at my workplace—they’re a cool bunch who’re excited to take on the day. Our company in Singapore is quite new, so it’s always fun to be able to work with a new group of people who bring in fresh energy.

An interesting part about your job is:
Taking projects that people might typically feel is ‘boring’ and then putting a fun spin on it.

Do you have a dream client you’d love to work with one day?
I know it’s a boring answer, but I want to say Nike, because of the scope that’s possible.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I just started a new path in my career, so for me, it’s not so much about where I see myself, but more about what I can do within these years.

If you could run any business, regardless of cost or possibility, what would it be?
I’m not too interested in running a business—I’d focus on enjoying life (laughs). If I had to, it’d be one where I can spend the money on the people I’d like to work with and one where I can give back to people who’ve given a lot to me.

Here’s a scenario: You just won a million dollars. What are the first three things you’d do?
I’d buy a house. It’s a goal I’m working towards right now, so that’s the first thing that comes into mind. Then I might have a baby, and adopt another one. And then save the rest for a fund. Does that sound very aunty? (laughs)
