David believes in shopping sparingly, and in investing in good pieces and paying attention to the little things to make sure that he always looks good. “I usually try to look tidy and professional due to the work that I do, but at the same time, relaxed and not too corporate,” he says. “I usually personalise my look with the shoes, blazer, cufflinks, and watch I wear.” David works in finance, and likes the fact that he gets to meet people from all aspects of life, and that his job offers him flexibility when it comes to time. “I also control the degree of how much I get out from my job, which brings satisfaction,” he says. “I like interacting with people, and to see how I can help them or be a source of help in their financial situations.” He finds it important to always give his best in his work. “To fully grasp the full potential of any career is simply to treat it as if it was your last,” he says. “It’s also important to search deeply into what you would like, and paint a picture of what your ideal preferences are in terms of what you are looking for.” He goes on to say, “I always believe challenges makes you better, thus my motto is: ‘If it does not challenge you, it will not change you.’” On the side, David puts his love for jazz music and musicals into practice: “I do singing and performances. It’s something I’ve picked up on my own, and I’ve acted in some church musicals,” he says. “If I wasn’t working in finance, I would most probably like to do something in the entertainment field, such as singing or acting.”
