L For Lizzy

Lizzy describes her style as spunky, and we think she’s nailed it. “Being in the media industry gives me the freedom to dress as I please,” she says. “But I have to be comfortable in whatever I wear because I am always running around.” Lizzy doesn’t compromise style for comfort, however, and although she tends to dress mainly in black and white, she relies on little details to make her outfit stand out — like the swan detailing on her collar, or her unconventional choice of footwear. “My boss hasn’t complained about my outfits so far!” Lizzy gets to break out her love of fashion when she goes shopping, which is one of Lizzy’s favourite things to do; so much so that she admits that it’s her “major weakness.” “I shop when I’m happy, sad or stressed,” she says.  “I also like to read, be it books, magazines, or blogs. I have to admit that I’m also a foodie, and my husband and I will hunt down places to eat at, or check out cafes with friends over the weekend.” Spending time with her loved ones is one of the ways she tries to create a better work-life balance through better time management. “Over the years I have learnt to prioritise. My family comes before my job.” It seems that the energetic Lizzy is all about living the best life she can, and she quotes Stephen Covey for her current personal motto: “Live, love, laugh, leave a legacy.”
