Long Haul

I’m a lawyer, but I used to be an architect.
It was motivated by interest. I mostly work in building and construction law, so my experience with reading technical drawings and dealing with contractors still comes in useful, and it hasn’t been too much of a change for me.

What do you like most about Melbourne?
The weather, specifically that we have four seasons.

Are there any places you’d like to travel to?
Portugal, specifically Lisbon—it seems like such a beautiful place. I’d also like to see the rest of Europe, but for now I’d like to visit Portugal first.

What’s an experience you’d like to have some day?
I’d like to go sailing. I think being out at sea gives you a sense of solitude that’s hard to find elsewhere.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
Be patient, and have faith.
