When asked to describe his style, Jordan laughs and simply says, “Singaporean.” “I personally like wearing checkered shirts,” he says. “I feel it’s kind of what most modern men would wear in such a country.” Indeed, Jordan’s outfit is made up of staples — plain white tee, a button-up shirt, a good pair of jeans, and versatile boat shoes — that should form the foundation of most male wardrobes. They key is always the fit, and Jordan’s got everything just about right. If he had the opportunity, he’d like to be able to wear more layers, and maybe that’s something he might get the chance to do when he visits Italy with his girlfriend in the weeks to come. Currently serving his National Service, Jordan admits that he wasn’t quite this fit. “I used to be rather chubby,” he says. “And then my friend recommended that I get fit through rock climbing, and I’ve been doing it ever since.” One of his more memorable conquests: going deep-water soloing in Krabi, and jumping into the water below from a 60-meter-tall cliff.
