Currently a student on an internship, Fionella feels blessed that her company does not enforce a strict dress code. “Personally, I prioritise comfort and fit. I’d think about whether a piece of clothing is versatile enough for me to wear even in a casual setting, with sneakers.” That being said, Fionella shares how she’s been trying out different styles of late. “I used to be really safe with my clothing choices and stuck to tees and shorts, but over the past two years, I’ve broadened out my choices by trying out pieces and textures I’d never thought I’d ever wear. I’ve also been putting more effort into dressing up and looking presentable. It’s been a pretty good adventure so far!” If Fionella could speak to her younger self, she’d have some serious fashion advice to dish out. “Ditch your baggy clothes and get properly-fitted pieces instead, because seven years down the road, you’ll regret it when you see your pictures.” Dressing tips aside, the most memorable advice Fionella’s ever gotten comes from her best friend: “If it doesn’t make you feel good, don’t do it.” For now, what feels good for Fionella is a push towards her fitness goals as she’s aiming to complete her first ever half marathon. She’s closing the gap by going for runs and yoga sessions in her free time, both as part of her fitness regime and as ways to destress. “On the other hand, though, I do love having a lazy day,  just switching off my phone and having multiple movie marathons in bed.”
