Audrey’s best approximation of her personal style is “urban chic”. She takes pleasure in looking elegant and stylish, but ditches the classic black in favour of more interesting hues. “I like contemporary designs, vibrant colours, quality fabrics, original prints and fitted outfits.” The final ensemble still has to be fitted and look well-put-together, as Audrey warns against “wearing too many colours, patterns or shapes that don’t go together”. When she’s not an impeccably dressed professional, Audrey is a fitness enthusiast with an avid love of sports. From regular gymming and swimming, to intensive bootcamps and road biking, Audrey’s fervour sees her training five times a week. Her next goal is to participate in the 250 kilometres Tour de Bintan challenge. With a hobby that time-consuming, Audrey is grateful that her job does not impinge on her personal life; in fact, she would not trade her job for anything else. “Loving your job is priceless,” she says. “It is crucial for me to feel useful at work and feel that I make the organization I work for a bit better.” Her biggest advice to those just entering the workforce: “Be yourself, give your best and have a can-do attitude, because while you may not be an expert at first, a positive attitude is all that matters.” Whether it’s in her career, the way she dresses, or her hobbies and interests, Audrey’s optimism and exuberance ensures that she makes the best of each day, living in the moment without regrets.
