We spotted the elegant Krista taking shelter from the rain, and she woefully gestures to her drenched shoes. “I just got these,” she laughs in resignation. Nonetheless, she still manages to look sophisticated in this pleated black dress, going for deep-blue accessories instead of the usual black. She adds a necklace, made of a Korean sea pearl and a gift from her grandmother, to complete her look of poise. Perhaps one of the things we find most interesting is Krista’s hair — braided and swept to the side, a look that isn’t easily pulled off by just any woman. Krista is an artist, and recently went back to school to get her Masters degree in Fine Arts. When she isn’t busy studying, creating art, and planning exhibitions, she also has her hands full as a single mother. The little Doraemon plaster on her finger hints at the myriad roles and responsibilities that she has, but Krista seems to be managing fine, and also manages to take the time to make sure she always looks chic.
