If Cindy could do anything in the world, she’d like to be a food blogger. “I like to eat, travel, and take photos. If only I could do that for a living!” She’s currently a banking associate involved in financing shipping companies, a job she finds to be suitably challenging. To those just entering the workforce, Cindy’s advice is to be open to criticism, praise, and ideas. “Also, don’t keep things to yourself, and ask when you’re in doubt,” she says. “I notice this about most interns. They’re shy, quiet, and they don’t communicate with us.” When it comes to workwear, Cindy has a preference for simple and timeless pieces that are easy to put on in the morning. “I stick to my staple of shift dresses and pair them with a cute pair of shoes or a necklace.” That’s a far cry from her University days, where a tee-and-shorts ensemble was her uniform of sorts. “Nowadays my wardrobe is slightly more diverse, and I try to always have one piece of clothing that is in trend.” Feminine as she may appear, Cindy says she loves to hit the gym alone whenever possible. “I go for classes such as body combat and weight lifting. That’s the only time when my mind is cleared of all other thoughts, and I focus only on myself.”
