Do you travel a lot?
I try to, but money’s always an issue. I’m going to Bhutan this month and will be staying at one of the resorts owned by the company I’m working at. Bhutan is known to be one of the happiest places in Asia and I just want to enjoy the scenery and tranquility. I think everything’s going to be really peaceful. They do packages for guests who stay there and we’ve made plans to go on several hiking trails, including to the Tiger’s Nest monastery.
Something interesting about me:
I’m learning Korean because I hope to be able to go to Korea to work, or at least work in a company that allows me to travel to Korea often; I find Korean fashion to be quite exciting. I’m also interested in their beauty market.
I’m only into Korean dramas.
I’m currently watching one called Tunnel. When I choose dramas I look at who the actors are; I don’t fancy those young and cute idols, I like actors who can really act. Another drama that I’ve recently completed is a crime drama called Voice. I prefer those over the romantic kind of K-dramas.
What’s good to eat around here in Orchard?
Thai food at Orchard Towers—it’s reasonably priced and has that authentic Thai flavour that a lot of places cannot replicate. Jade Palace at Forum is also very good for dim sum. Most of the time my colleagues and I will just head to the different foodcourts and Wisma Atria’s one is the best. The quality of food is pretty good.
Song that’s currently on repeat:
Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay. Favourite!
