Why does my mouth open when I’m applying mascara?

If someone were to offer you an unlimited supply of one thing, what would you ask for?
Ideas. I think ideas would be the best gift for any creative, especially when you’re stuck in the thought process.

If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Vincent Van Gogh. I want to see the world through his eyes.

My Plan-B, ‘if-all-else-fails’ career choice:
A kindergarten/nursery teacher. I volunteer at a tuition programme for kids from underprivileged families on the weekend, and I really enjoy my time with them. Even though they can get rather rowdy sometimes, I always feel refreshed and energised after spending time with them.

If you could keep any animal as a pet, what would you want?
A sloth. I once stared at a sloth in the zoo for 20 minutes and it didn’t move at all. It’s such a fascinating creature.

As a connoisseur of fried chicken, what makes a good fried chicken? Which is the best in Singapore, and how much have you eaten at one go?
A good fried chicken has to be crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and goes well with beer. (laughs) The best I’ve tried so far is garlicky wings from Chir Chir Chicken, and the most I’ve eaten was half a plate on my own.
