In a mint green vintage dress procured from a trip to Tokyo, paired with brown suede shoes and a waist belt, Pauline looked every part the demure sweetheart in her side-tie ponytail. That is, until you get chatting with her and unearth her sense of sardonic humour (“If I were an animal, I’d be a horse. Meant to run free, but stuck in a stable.”) which really tickled us. The advertising planner is currently obsessed with flowers and counts flower arrangement,  photography and cycling (“as a mode of transport”) as part of her hobbies. When it comes to music, she lists three core themes – classical for thinking, lyrical compositions for seeking inspiration and trance, “for when I’m trying to bang out work in the speediest fashion”. She keeps a tank of shrimp as pets, and would like to have dinner with Ellen Page because, “I think we’d really get along”. And if she had a special power? “Teleportation… nothing too special. With great power comes great responsibility, you know.”
