Suit Up

You might think that the fresh-faced Charles, in his steel-grey suit, is a new hire at a bank or law firm, but he’s actually the manager of a bar in Raffles Place. We met him at the end of our day, just when he was beginning his work day. Charles believes that one should always dress the way you want to feel; for example, he feels the most productive whenever he’s in a suit, instead of a simpler ensemble of just a shirt and pair of pants. Although he finds it important to look polished and professional, Charles isn’t a stickler for branded goods; his shoes are from Bata, an affordable brand that’s been in Singapore for as long as any of us can remember, while his forest-green backpack was purchased for cheap during one  of his trips overseas. Charles travels extensively when he has the time, and names Mongolia and Korea as some of his favourite countries to visit.
