Taking Wing

I’m from Hunan, China.
I’ve been in Singapore for about three years and I like it a lot here. However, I haven’t been home for half a year, so I’d like to go back soon to visit and spend time with my parents!

What are some places of interest back in your hometown?
One of the places you must visit is Zhangjiajie. There are a lot of mountains and waterfalls there. As for good food, there’s just too many. To name a few, there’s the Hunan mi fen (rice vermicelli) and chou dou fu (smelly tofu)!

What are some of your favourite foods in Singapore?
Bak kut teh! (Pork ribs in a peppery or herbal broth) I like the one at Balestier.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?
Dramas. I love watching them. Recently, I’ve been watching a lot of Young Sheldon on Netflix.

If I had a million dollars, I would…
Start my own business. I’ve been interested in restaurants recently. I’d like to start a bar somewhere in the CBD area here in Singapore. I hope that it can be a place where people can come to relax, make new friends and feel comfortable.
