The African Lioness

Our first impression: Is that Miranda Priestly from ‘The Devil Wears Prada’? Manda definitely looked the part with her shock of coiffed platinum hair. Poised and powerful with a commanding presence, it is no surprise that Manda likened herself to an African lioness. Yet, when speaking with her, she exuded a sense of calm, which can perhaps be attributed to her passion for yoga and meditation. Her dress then, is an interestingly pertinent reflection of her outlook and personality – the structured outer piece is in line with her strong image, the pleated inner piece an echo of her softer, quieter self. Manda’s choice of dinner partners too, resonates with her interests. “I’d like to dine with the Dalai Lama, Jesus Christ and an alien.”
