The Spaces In Between

If you could live in any TV series, what would it be?
I’d want to be a part of the Hawkin’s Lab from the Netflix series, Stranger Things. Even after finishing two seasons, I have no idea what the Upside Down is, so it’d be really cool to be part of the team to investigate it.

Something people don’t really know about me:
I’ve started doing a project in which I’m trying to learn something new each month. Last month I picked up web coding but I haven’t really had the chance to learn it properly, and it’s quite tough to understand it myself!

If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Japanese architect Tadao Ando. He’s one of the architects whom I admire the most, so I’d like to have the chance to experience how he conceptualises things, and hopefully be able to implement that in my future work.

A book that really changed the way I thought about something:
An interesting book I’ve read is the Species of Spaces by Georges Perec. It’s a book that talks about all the spaces in a city, down to how we don’t think enough about a staircase. As an interior designer, the book pushed me to think about all the little details in a space and how we can also turn them into spaces that are appreciated.

If you could live in a movie, which would you choose and why?
Star Wars! I’m in awe of intergalactic travel and it’d be fun to make some alien friends. But if I’m a Force user I’d probably want to be part of the dark side.
