Tell us about yourself—what do you do?
I’m the co-founder of Content Lab, which helps brands develop content strategy through storytelling across different platforms.

How long have you been living in Singapore? What do you miss most about Australia?
I’ve been in Singapore for 15 years, but I’m originally from Melbourne, which is why I’m dressed like this—everyone in Melbourne always dresses in dark grey or black for some reason. I go back to Australia about three or four times a year, and the one thing I miss the most is the beaches.

What do you like and not like about Singapore?
I really love the food here, I like it all. I don’t mind the heat so much, but I can’t deal with the humidity! (laughs)

Since living in Singapore, what have you learned that not many people know about?
I’d say that Singapore has changed so much and so quickly, and it constantly changes. The coffee culture, and the bar and food scene in general are amazing, and a lot of it has really only developed in the last five years.

What’s something you recently saw that inspired you?
I’m a fan of Tony Robbins, and I had the chance to attend his event and hear him speak when he recently came to Singapore. As an entrepreneur, the most difficult thing is self-motivation, so I think that listening to his advice on things like managing your own mindset was really helpful.
