Up To The Mark

Nishtha is an English language teacher, and says she has been teaching the subject for the past six months. “It’s very gratifying to see my students learn and improve,” she says, when asked what her favourite part of her job is. “I also get to meet a lot of new people in each class.” With her clear, strong voice and confident demeanour, it’s easy to imagine Nishtha helming a group of eager students. Since she has stand in front of people every day, Nishtha also sees the importance of being well-dressed and looking presentable. “I have to be up to the mark when it comes to dressing,” she says. “I believe in being comfortable, yet stylish.” That’s exactly what comes across in this easy-going, resort-inspired outfit, with a pair of relaxed, loose-fit pants, a breezy sleeveless top, and a striped, seemingly nautical-inspired bag. It’s not every profession that allows for open-toed sandals, but Nishtha makes up for it with sheer boldness.
