The scariest thing I’ve ever done…
Was to sit on top of an ERP sign somewhere—I can’t remember exactly where. It was really a long time ago when a friend of mine brought me up to shoot some photos.
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day who would it be and why?
It’d be travel photographer, Steve McCurry. He goes to exotic places, hidden from the world, and captures the most captivating photos. I would love to experience what it’s like to be in those places.
My most memorable trip was to Taipei, many years back.
It was my first solo trip and I was living in a hostel with students from Australia, Indonesia, Canada, and South Korea. During the day, I would set out on my travels while the rest were in school. With only my camera and some cash, I took random buses and trains to random places. It was so rewarding as I managed to visit two museums, an old kampung-like area and randomly walked up a mountain to a place where a king used to live. I would usually go around till it’s dark before going out for dinner, grocery shopping, and sometimes, night travels with my housemates.
If I had to live alone for the rest of my life, it would be in:
I sound really patriotic but definitely in Singapore, in a nice apartment, in town. In all honesty, I’m a really lazy person and in Singapore, we’re so spoilt with all the convenience. Let’s not forget the good food!
If you could be anything in your next life, what would it be and why?
I’ve never thought about that but if I had to choose one, a cat. I get to roam about freely doing whatever I want while still being loved and fed.
The one thing I can’t live without:
A goal in life.
