Cecile is one of our original Shentonistas, and was featured on our site 5 years ago, when it was first founded. It’s been a while since we last saw her, so we were delighted to bump into her once again. Years might have passed, but Cecile still sticks by her belief that one does not have to spend a lot of money on clothes to look good. In her opinion, mixing and matching pieces from high street labels with high fashion brands can produce a look that’s stylish too. It’s no wonder then, that she names ZARA as her favourite store to shop at. Perhaps her simple yet elegant sense of style is influenced by the fashion culture of her native country, France, with its effortlessly chic ensembles fuelling many sartorial dreams. Cecile has been living in Singapore for the past two years — her favourite part of this sunny island? “I love the neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru, especially for its good food and coffee.”
