A Different Papa

“It’s always about being different right?” Sporting a thick but well-groomed beard, and dressed in rugged jeans with just a hint of colour in his socks and shoes, Scott’s unconventional workwear definitely stood out from the crowd. We found his cropped shirt interesting as well: a staple in many women’s wardrobes, but uncommon in men’s, it injects a touch of the bohemian without being too overwhelming. When he’s not in his casual Friday best, Scott looks out for colours and clean lines, trying to balance looking unique and keeping things simple, perhaps like when we last caught him. Scott has been in Singapore for five years and is currently working in shipping, an industry he enjoys because “no day is the same”. His constant pillars of support? His family. Scott’s antidote to a hectic work week: a good meal of satay at East Coast Park on a Sunday afternoon with his loved ones, or going for motorbike rides in Malaysia.
