Taking It On
Something interesting about me:
I just moved to Singapore. I was born in Madagascar, grew up in France, and stayed in Australia for 16 years. So who knows, I might be here for another 16 years!
What’s good to see or do in Madagascar?
Although it’s one of the poorest countries in the world, Madagascar is beautiful. It is an amazing country with a unique ecosystem. There is a lot to explore, from sightseeing around the island to lying on beautiful beaches, and the people are genuinely nice. The food is also delicious. It’s not as popular or touristy as the other islands in the region, so if you are after something ‘unexplored’ and authentic, Madagascar should be your next go-to vacation destination!
How did you come to be doing what you’re doing now?
I like advertising and media, and I’m really into video advertising, so this was a great opportunity. There’s not too many women in advertising technology so I’d like to shine and prove that women can do everything.
Scariest thing I’ve ever done:
I quit my marketing job and went back to studying fashion design and technology to fulfil my passion, and set up my own fashion label. This was quite a bold move at the time, being a mother of two kids under the age of 4.
What have your children taught you?
Patience, fun and unconditional love!
