Hand To Heart
What’s something you’d like to be really good at?
I’ve recently taken to craft work, so I’d like to pick up and be good at craft-related skills, like sculpting with clay and working with handicraft materials.
Have you made any resolutions in the new year? How successful have you been at keeping to them?
I have, though being a forgetful person, I’ve set weekly and monthly reminders to keep track of my progress. One resolution is to read more—I’m currently more than 100 pages into a book, which is something I probably wouldn’t have accomplished before.
What are some things from the past you are nostalgic for?
Waking up early on Saturday mornings to catch my favourite cartoons! Gone are the days where we could just wake up, switch on the television, and while away our time without a care in the world.
If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be, and what would you have done differently?
Probably to have continued playing basketball in my teenage years. I might’ve grown taller if I’d stuck with it. (laughs)
Something you’re looking forward to this year:
Definitely my wedding. We just had the pre-wedding shoot in February in Taiwan. It was a casual affair and we had a friend shoot for us; it was lots of fun and I can’t wait to see the results. Apart from that, I’ve been keeping to an exercise regime to keep myself in shape so I’ll fit into my suits. (laughs) One thing I’m not looking forward to very much is the planning of decorations, guest lists and seating arrangements—I’ve heard it can be pretty stressful.
