We hear you’re studying International Relations—why did you choose this course?
I’ve always been invested in current affairs and understanding the state of our world and societies; it seemed natural to choose the course in university which caters to that interest.

We saw you reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on set! Biggest lesson that the series has taught you:
The friends you make in high school are the ones you should always keep close, because they’ll be your friends for life.

If you could be a part of any movie, book or TV show, which one would you choose and why? Is there a specific character you’d like to be?
Probably Sex Education, as it’s the most brilliantly written, relevant, coming-of-age series I’ve watched to date. I’d want to be one of the mean clique members because they’re so funnily snide and b*tchy. (laughs)

Share with us an interesting/surprising fun fact about yourself that not many people might know.
That I can speak Chinese, and I actually really love the language! (laughs)

What’s something your younger self would be surprised to learn about your current self?
How much more comfortable and confident I am in my own skin!

If you had unlimited resources, what’s something frivolous you’d collect?
Exotic and ultra rare plants; variegated varieties etc.
