You mentioned you like travelling and going on adventures. Tell us about a memorable adventure you had.

I was in Phuket with a friend, and we jumped into a random boy racer (illegally modified) car thinking it was a taxi. It was around midnight, and the car had tinted windows with a big muffler, but the driver drove us safely back to our hotel. We were stranded on the street and there weren’t any taxis around, but it was only after we got into the car that we realised it was kind of dangerous.

If you could have one superpower, what would you want?

I guess I’d want to do magic, because I always feel that magic can make people happy. More than that, it’s also about having positive energy around.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever worn?

A rooster suit. I was at a company party, and we had to dress up in something that shares the first letter of our name. My nickname is Bek, but my full name is Rebecca, so ‘R’ for a rooster. I had the feet and wings, the whole thing, kind of like a mascot.

If you’re stranded on an island and only had one thing to eat, what would you want?

Plums. I love plum; it’s juicy, sweet, and I think I’d survive on that, with no water. I think that would keep me alive! (laughs)

Best advice I’ve received:

From the movie Kungfu Panda: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow’s a mystery, and today is a gift, that’s why they call it the present.” So live today, and seize every moment. Like today—I’ve always walked this path for two or three years, and suddenly I met you guys to do this really random and fun thing. It’s an interesting start to the day.
