A Little Edge

Sheena’s been in Singapore for 18 months, having previously worked in London. She still maintains the sort of slightly edgy, effortless style that’s distinct to Londoners, pairing a simple pinstriped button-up shirt with a knee-length leather pencil skirt, angular glasses that perfectly frame her face, and choosing to let her hair down, fuss-free. “I like clean lines with a twist,” she says. “Nothing overly feminine or too sexy.” We see the balance clearly in her look today, with leather being a less common choice for materials in the corporate world, and pared down by uncomplicated heels and an oversized tote. We ask her if blue is her favourite colour, and she laughs, shaking her head. “No, although it might seem so, based on my look today. I do like adding pops of colour to my outfit, although I’m usually in more neutral colours.” Working in PR, it seems that Sheena knows the importance of keeping up appearances, and she looks poised to inspire others to do the same.
