A New Game

What are you doing currently?
I’m working in recruitment, but I was not expecting to do this at all. I used to think that I would do something creative, because I’m into photography and used to model a bit as well. So it was a surprise for me to work in a nine-to-five office job. But the overall experience has been good because I have really nice bosses, so I’m actually very willing to work for them. I’m also learning a lot, and feel a sense of satisfaction when I find someone a job because I feel that I’m making a difference in their lives.

I used to be a competitive gamer.
I was in a competitive team for a while, and I used to play Overwatch, WiLD, and World of Warcraft. I guess I somewhat became a hardcore gamer because I grew up around gamers—my brother is a full-time gamer. He has this gaming house and he’s in a team called Dreamscape.

Do you have a role model you look up to?
My entire family. All of them have different aspects of themselves that inspire me in different ways—for example, my sister’s really good at managing finances.

What’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
I don’t eat spicy food, so when I was in Korea with my family, they all gave me a part of their non-spicy food. That was really sweet and I almost teared up. (laughs)

If you could trade lives with somebody, fiction or non-fiction, who would it be and why?
Kylie Jenner (laughs). I’d get all the money, but if I were to be in that position I’d do more with it, such as spreading awareness about dog adoption.
