An Organised Life
People /
Hazwan has an interesting personal motto, to “never let the scent of anyone linger on your soul for more than 10 minutes”. He tells others (and himself) to always follow their gut instinct, and have some confidence in the work that they’re doing. “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes,” he says. An integral part of his life is his organiser, which he uses to keep track of his daily tasks, especially when it gets difficult for him to juggle personal time and working life. “I bring it everywhere, and I always make sure it’s updated, so I don’t miss out on anything”. To Hazwan, a work-life balance is very important, and he believes that working too much is going to cause him to burn out. As such, he tries to create a balance through working out at the gym and being out in nature as and when he can, in order to keep a “fresh mind”. His personal style can be described as clean, with a touch of creativity, and his creative personality shines through not only through his love for the theatre and his passionate side job as a playwright and performer, but also through the way he dresses. However, he thinks he would develop a pet-peeve for outfits that are “too flashy, with colours that are too bright and clashing” in his near future should he continue on in the creative industry — but perhaps that’s just part and parcel of working in the industry.
