Jazreen says that her style is generally trend-proof. “I guess I would describe my style as classic and timeless at the same time. I wear a lot of solid and neutral colours on most days, except Fridays, so I usually just jazz the outfit up with statement necklaces or cuffs, or wear brighter shoes with them,” she says. “I don’t exactly follow the latest trends, so I’m not particularly worried that a certain outfit in my wardrobe will go out of style. But I do have a major weakness for anything with a pencil cut.” Her one rule, however, would be to avoid un-pressed clothes, as she prefers her dresses and skirts to look structured and sharp. Jazreen says that she manages to maintain a “pretty good” work-life balance, even though there are some months that can get “crazy hectic”. “I’m quite a foodie — I would have loved to be a pastry chef — so I do hot yoga on a weekly basis to try and maintain my weight,” she says. “I also just tried kick boxing and I really like the intensity of it, so I’ll probably try and incorporate it into my schedule soon.” Jazreen is all ready to forget about work on a Friday evening, and it seems that in life, she’s pretty content to go with the flow as well. “This quote has been appearing on my Instagram feed quite often and I really think I can relate to this: ‘You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go, and see what happens.’”
