Determined

Describing her love for the likes of designers Phillip Lim and Dries Van Noten for their utilitarian pieces and unique textures, Alicia says she usually stays away from high street brands. Today she’s dressed in one of her own pieces, from her homegrown label, Al Et Clar. In a racerback silk tank complementing a pair of textured culottes from Vietnam, Alicia stood out from the office crowd. If  there was a uniform of sorts she had to wear for the rest of her life, she says it would be well-tailored white shirts. “There’s nothing like a crisp white shirt: it’s timeless and classy, super versatile and just goes with everything.” Alicia currently works at her day job in digital marketing, but also runs her well-loved label on the side. It can get tiring sometimes, and she says she would love to get a bit of a break once in a while. “I wish I had more downtime to explore far flung cities to get more inspiration for my label.” In her free time, she does sports and experiments with new recipes. Citing tennis player Roger Federer as her ultimate role model for his determination, humility and sheer talent, we think Alicia exudes qualities just like him.
