Do you have any style inspirations? Tell us more about them.
My style inspirations are Rei Kawakubo and Audrey Hepburn. I think Rei Kawabuko has introduced a new sartorial convention different from the normal way of how any garment is usually worn. To me, Audrey Hepburn is a true icon who represents effortless chic—she can easily turn everyday clothing into wardrobe essentials.

What are you most nostalgic about?
Visiting my grandfather over the weekends, sitting down on the floor with the whole family and eating traditional Indian food.

What’s something you wish you knew when you were starting out in your career?
I really wish I knew how many sleepless nights there were going to be.

If you could travel to any time period, past of future, which would it be?
I’d only choose to travel to the future, because my past has made me who I am today and I wouldn’t want to change that.

One place you’d like to travel to:
Zermatt, in Switzerland—my family went to Zermatt when I was really young, but left me behind in Singapore. My siblings still talk about it till this day, so it’s mostly family envy. Apart from that, I also love going to places surrounded by nature.

What is one wardrobe staple that you bring with you through your travels?
A white shirt! A simple white shirt can be transformed into a casual look when you pair it with jeans and sneakers, or with a pair of brogues and leather jacket for a more chic look.
