What’s something that has changed since the last time we met you?
Since the last time we met, I have had two Members of Parliament join my podcast, so that has been very exciting.

Do you practice any self-care habits or routines?
Since I work in the media industry, one of the things I do would be to take time off from social media once in a while, so that I don’t get too overwhelmed from all the news happening all around the world. Although it’s good to keep updated with everything, it might also be quite detrimental to your mental health if it’s something that you consume constantly.

What’s a new hobby that you picked up recently?
Rollerblading! I’ve always been one to enjoy the outdoors and keep active, so I’d go for morning runs with my friends or hit the gym now and then. But ever since the gyms closed, I’ve been thinking of new activities to do, so my friends and I have decided to give rollerblading a shot, and we’ve been absolutely loving it.

What do you enjoy the most about rollerblading?
I love how it is very liberating—instead of just walking or cycling, rollerblading requires skill and once you get the hang of it, it gives you a certain kind of adrenaline rush. I’m quite a thrill-seeker, so I’m always looking for new, fun, and exciting experiences to try. With the limited amount of resources we have now, rollerblading ticks all the boxes so that’s why I really like it.

What’s the best decision that you’ve taken in the past year?
To poke a friend of mine to introduce me to one of her friends, and then, I found love (laughs). I feel like it’s pretty difficult to date in the middle of a pandemic, since I’m not really a fan of online dating, and there’s still a bit of a stigma with trying to get friends to introduce you to their friends, but I’m glad I took that leap and went ahead with it.
