Globetrotter

I’m Dutch, and have been in Singapore for eight months.
It’s good here! I like the weather, obviously, and the food. I moved here for my job in marketing research, which is really nice.

What do you like to eat around here?
I like Indian food, so I go to my favourite vegetarian stall in Lau Pa Sat. It’s located in a corner and I know exactly where it is.

Something interesting about myself:
I like moving countries. I’ve lived in India, London, South America, and now Singapore.

Your favourite?
Ooh, that’s difficult. I think London is my favourite, without my one-and-a-half-years-old kid. With my kid, though, Singapore is good. 

My most memorable trip:
Definitely India. We travelled a lot, saw a lot of awesome people and the city, so that was definitely the best.

What’s good in Amsterdam, where you’re from?
Everything! (laughs) The coffee shops and restaurants, the shops are really nice, and boutique shops with everything you need in life, basically.
