How did you came to be doing what you’re doing now?
It was purely accidental. It was during a casual beer session that the thought came upon me to try and start something. It sounded daunting at first, but we thought, why not do it when we’re still young? We’ll never know if we make it or break it until we try and I’m glad I started this journey ever since.
One piece of advice you’d give to anyone who’s just starting work?
Choose the right place, somewhere that you think you can fit into the culture, because your first job sets the pace and tonality of your next career path.
What drives and inspires you to continue doing what you do, day in and out?
Meeting people from all walks of life, having to share their thoughts and views, and the comforting messages we get from clients and friends about the work done right for them. These are priceless and certainly one of the main perks of what I do!
Best decision ever?
The path to the creative world is not a direct path. I studied Business Information Technology during polytechnic, and made a major switch to pursue my interest in design during university. That was my best decision ever, so far.
Scariest thing that I’ve ever done:
Bungee jumping at the Mokai Gravity Canyon in New Zealand. It was 80m but it was fun!
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Jack Ma. It will be interesting to step into his shoes and be inspired by his thinking and thought processes.
