We hear you’re into photography. Tell us about your new camera.
This is the Olympus OM-1N SLR film camera. It was quite a lucky find on Carousell since film cameras are hard to come by nowadays—I got the body and two lenses for just $300! I was actually eyeing a Nikon F5, but that’s way too pricey for me.

It’s my first time testing out the camera and I’ve been really impressed by it so far. I used to borrow my brother’s old Nikoma EL, which was clunky and had mould growing in it. It did produce a very cool cloudy effect, but this is definitely a nice upgrade for me.

What’s your favourite film?
Cinestill 800. They’re expensive, but so good. I’m really into night lights in street photography, which is why I like this film roll so much.

What do you do as a content creator?
I have a YouTube channel where I upload gameplay content. I’d record myself playing anything from shooting games to FIFA. It’s only been two years, but I’ve had to stop because it got very draining and no longer felt like a hobby.

You’re currently enlisted in the Singapore Civil Defence Force. What are you planning to pursue after your National Service?
I haven’t quite decided yet, but I’ll probably work for a few years at a media-related company before hopefully furthering my studies in film.

My goal is to work in advertising or become a freelance content creator like @gakuyen.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Play video games and watch anime. I’ve been watching the new season of Bleach, one of my favourite anime series.

How would you describe your fashion style?
Cyberpunk. I wear a lot of techwear, and I like to put outfits together by getting inspiration from video game and anime characters. I’ve also been trying to experiment with more avant-garde pieces, so I’m wearing these pants which are something different for me.
