I’d love to explore the art scene if I had the chance.
I’ve always liked art, but it’s an intimidating space to explore. I don’t know why but there’s always been this impression that art people can come across judgemental, which I discovered isn’t true after talking to more of them.

Tell us more about yourself.
I used to study fashion management in LASALLE and one thing led to another, which brought me to my family business. I’ve always tried to explore beyond this boundary though, so even learning more about art was a way to enrich myself in a different way.

Share with us about a significant change you’re hoping to make this year.
I’m going back to school—I’m heading to New York for two years to do fashion management. The good thing about institutions overseas is that you do get to explore a lot more in your minors. I’m excited to go back and finish something I never completed, really.

What’s a recent trend you’ve been into?
Animal prints. I think it’s hard to pull off, because if you cross the fine line, you’ll look very aunty. So I’ve been trying to explore it, quite cautiously.

Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I hope to see myself doing what I love—which I know will always be changing day to day. Hopefully, I’ve reached a place in my life where I can settle down, and stop partying so much (laughs). I’ve already toned down a lot, but like they say, there’s always room for improvement.
