In Small Doses

The last time we met, you mentioned your one of your goals was to start your own label—how’s that coming along?
I finally did it, though I’ve made many silly mistakes along the way and learnt so much from them. But truth is, I’m not spending enough time to grow it properly while juggling work and school so it’s been tough to sustain. I’m not sure where it will go next, but I’m glad I tried and made all the mistakes I did.

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Anything that’s chocolate—it’s my happy food!

If you could have a million dollars, how would you use it to help people and why?
I’d probably give it out in small amounts to the elderly who go around selling tissue packets, rather than donating it to charity. I’ve actually been setting aside a sum to do that this year, and seeing the joy on their unexpecting faces has been everything to me.

If you could trade lives with anyone in the world for a day, who would it be and why?
Not to sound conceited, but I wouldn’t pick anyone, because I’ve grown to be happy with who I am and the life I’ve been given.

My spirit animal is…
Every quiz I’ve taken over the years tells me I’m a bear; I guess that’s because I have a calm and stable nature.

What’s a random or useless talent you have?
I have the patience to pick off every single bit of spring onion and tau gey (beansprout) from my meal.
