Italian Job

With his friends egging him on, Christian gamely posed for these photos, and proved to be quite a natural. It should come as no surprise, then, that the Italian takes great pride in how he dresses, and it seems to run in the family. “Style in my family has always been quite a serious subject,” he says. “My father is a very stylish 64-year-old!” Picking out his outfits comes easily to him as well, although he says he sometimes has to dial down his more eccentric combinations for his job. Outside of work, Christian hits the gym and has even pushed himself to take part in two Ironman competitions, purely to prove himself and beat his limits. But that was a thing of the past. “These days I prefer to learn the quieter art of aikido.” Just when we thought he couldn’t possibly get any more interesting, Christian surprises us with a Chinese idiom when ask for his philosophy in life: “Always think creatively, carpe diem, and follow your love and passion and you will be 无可阻挡 (wu ke zhu dang; unstoppable)!”
